Job Requirements

• Active California RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Recent Emergency Room nursing experience preferred
• Experience working night shifts in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency department
• Negative TB screen within 12 months of the contract start date
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, teamwork, and patient communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to Emergency Department patients
• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity
• Support physicians and the care team during urgent and emergent situations
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols
• Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
• Create a calm, supportive experience for patients and families during stressful moments
