NICU Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment in Vancouver, Washington

- Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,770 - $1,870
- Orientation: 12 hours
Job Requirements
- Active Oregon RN license or proof of Oregon license application and fingerprinting at time of submission
- At least 1 year of NICU experience required
- Epic experience required
- BLS certification required
- NRP Advanced certification required
- Experience caring for neonates, including premature and term ill infants
- Strong neonatal nursing skills, including IV starts, thermoregulation, phototherapy, feeding support, and respiratory support
- ECMO experience highly preferred
- Must be comfortable working in a high-acuity neonatal environment
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and developmentally appropriate care to NICU patients
- Monitor and support neonates with a variety of respiratory and medical needs
- Administer medications, blood products, and treatments as ordered
- Assist with high-risk deliveries and respond to changing patient conditions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
- Support feeding, breastfeeding, and family education for newborn care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote the best outcomes for infants and families
- Perform essential NICU nursing interventions including blood glucose monitoring, isolation precautions, and line maintenance
