NICU Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment in Vancouver, Washington

Job Requirements

  • Active Oregon RN license or proof of Oregon license application and fingerprinting at time of submission
  • At least 1 year of NICU experience required
  • Epic experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • NRP Advanced certification required
  • Experience caring for neonates, including premature and term ill infants
  • Strong neonatal nursing skills, including IV starts, thermoregulation, phototherapy, feeding support, and respiratory support
  • ECMO experience highly preferred
  • Must be comfortable working in a high-acuity neonatal environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, compassionate, and developmentally appropriate care to NICU patients
  • Monitor and support neonates with a variety of respiratory and medical needs
  • Administer medications, blood products, and treatments as ordered
  • Assist with high-risk deliveries and respond to changing patient conditions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
  • Support feeding, breastfeeding, and family education for newborn care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote the best outcomes for infants and families
  • Perform essential NICU nursing interventions including blood glucose monitoring, isolation precautions, and line maintenance
