Travel Nurse Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,770 - $1,870

ICU RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent ICU experience required; 2 years preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to provide safe, high-quality care in a critical care setting
• Experience with LTAC or adult ICU patient populations preferred
• Comfort working with adult and geriatric patients
• Ability to complete pre-assignment testing and required modules prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for adult ICU patients with complex medical needs
• Monitor and manage ventilated patients, including ventilator weaning support
• Administer and titrate critical medications, including vasoactive drips and insulin drips
• Perform assessments, intervene quickly in changing conditions, and communicate patient updates effectively
• Care for patients with trachs, PEG tubes, wound care needs, and other advanced respiratory or medical concerns
• Support safe management of central lines, arterial lines, chest tubes, and other critical care therapies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote excellent patient outcomes
• Float to other qualified units as needed based on census and staffing needs
