Experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Colorado Springs, Colorado. • Position: Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80909
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts
• Schedule: Nights, various days of the week
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,180 - $2,290
• Setting: Birth center / Labor & Delivery
• Start Date: September 14, 2026
• On-Call: Required per unit need
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, per unit needs
• Floating: May float within the service line and, when needed, to another nearby facility
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, AWHONN Advanced, and FHM certifications required
• Experience with high-risk antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
• Proficiency with Epic charting required
• Strong clinical background in obstetric assessment and fetal monitoring
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced unit with a 2:1 patient ratio

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, safe patient care throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Assist with inductions, C-sections, cerclage, D&C, and other obstetric procedures
• Support high-risk pregnancies, including patients requiring magnesium, insulin, or pitocin therapy
• Perform fetal monitoring, triage, and comprehensive patient assessments in a high-acuity environment
• Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth experience
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold best practices in patient care, safety, and quality
