• Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long-Term Care
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job
• Schedule: Full-time nights; 5 shifts per week; 8-hour shifts
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours
• Contract Length: 23 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,560 - $1,640
• Location: Penn Yan, NY 14527
• Start Date: 09/22/2026
• Schedule Note: Every other weekend and holiday coverage required

Job Requirements

• Active New York LPN license
• BLS certification through AHA or RQI
• At least 1 year of LPN experience
• At least 1 year of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care to adult and geriatric residents
• Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care to assigned residents in a long-term care facility
• Collect, document, and communicate ongoing resident data related to physical and psychosocial status
• Collaborate with the RN and interdisciplinary healthcare team to support individualized plans of care
• Contribute to care plans that promote safety, comfort, dignity, and positive resident outcomes
• Evaluate resident progress and help identify when updates to the plan of care are needed
• Maintain current clinical knowledge through continuing education and in-service learning
• Support orientation and mentoring efforts as needed
• Deliver care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and scope of practice
