• Shifts Per Week: 3 shifts per week
• Schedule: Day/night rotation with weekend, holiday, and 2 on-call shifts per 4 weeks

Job Requirements

• Active New York State RN license
• BLS, ACLS (AHA or RQI only), and NIHSS certification
• At least 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Experience caring for adult, adolescent, and geriatric patient populations
• Strong assessment, communication, and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to Med/Surg patients
• Assess patient and family needs, develop individualized plans of care, and monitor progress
• Coordinate care with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Administer medications and perform nursing interventions with accuracy and professionalism
• Educate patients and families on care plans, recovery goals, and self-care after discharge
• Support comfort, emotional well-being, and a positive healing environment
• Maintain thorough documentation and uphold infection prevention and patient safety standards
• Participate in quality improvement efforts and ongoing professional development
