• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Patient Population: Adolescent, adult, and 55+ geriatric patients
• Clinical Environment: Low-acuity behavioral health setting with an emphasis on teamwork and patient safety

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience
• Ability to work nights and every other weekend
• Comfort working across multiple units and patient populations as needed
• De-escalation experience preferred
• Experience with Handle With Care and/or CPI is a plus
• Familiarity with EHR documentation; WellSky experience preferred
• Medication administration experience preferred, including Omnicell systems
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to psychiatric and behavioral health patients
• Support patients across adolescent, adult, and geriatric units as needed
• Monitor patient status, document care, and communicate changes to the care team
• Assist with de-escalation and maintain a safe therapeutic environment
• Administer medications and support treatment plans according to unit protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to promote positive patient outcomes
• Adapt to floating between units based on facility needs
• Deliver compassionate, professional care in a structured behavioral health setting
