Job Requirements

• Current NCCPA certification required
• NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS
• Current ACLS certification required
• Board certification required
• At least 1 year of emergency medicine or high-acuity clinical experience preferred
• Strong ability to work in a fast-paced emergency department environment
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient assessment skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medicine care to patients across a broad range of acuity
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute illnesses and injuries in a busy ED setting
• Support timely patient flow through efficient assessments, documentation, and disposition planning
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and the broader clinical team
• Maintain a patient-centered approach while delivering safe, efficient care
• Adapt quickly to changing clinical needs in a high-volume emergency department environment
