Job Details

• Setting: Hospital Endoscopy Department / GI Lab
• Location: Northampton, Massachusetts
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 8-hour day shifts
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,580 - $1,700

Endoscopy Technician Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Endoscopy Technician certification required within 90 days of hire
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of experience in endoscopy, GI, surgical, or procedural support preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a busy, patient-centered procedural setting

Endoscopy Technician Responsibilities

• Prepare endoscopy equipment and supplies for scheduled procedures
• Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and procedural readiness
• Support physicians during biopsy, counter traction, polypectomy, and other therapeutic procedures
• Anticipate procedural needs and prepare equipment in advance to help cases run efficiently
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and compassionate care environment for patients and staff
