Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• 1-2 years of ambulatory oncology experience required
• Outpatient chemotherapy infusion experience required
• ONS chemo/immunotherapy certificate required
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
• BSN preferred
• Oncology Nurse Certification (OCN) required after 2 years of hire or after reaching 2,000 hours of oncology nursing practice
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Basic computer proficiency and commitment to patient confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care in an outpatient oncology infusion setting
• Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments safely and accurately
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, side effects, and symptom management
• Support care planning and coordinate outpatient services for complex patient needs
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality cancer care
• Practice according to ANA and ONS standards of care
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality at all times
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and peers
