• Position: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Assignment
• Setting: Intensive Care / Coronary Care Unit (ICU/CCU)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Hours: 36 hours per week; 80 hours every 2 weeks
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Start Date: September 14, 2026
• Location: Waimea, Hawaii

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with current nursing credentials
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing, critical care nursing, or acute care nursing experience required
• Experience caring for surgical, respiratory, and cardiac patients preferred
• Must be willing to work rotating shifts and any assigned shift as needed
• Ability to float to OB, Med-Surg, PACU, and ER based on competency
• Strong critical thinking skills and comfort managing patients with varying acuity levels
• Ability to complete orientation and competency requirements upon arrival

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, age-appropriate care to ICU/CCU patients across the lifespan
• Monitor and support patients with serious respiratory and/or cardiac conditions
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate treatment and deliver safe, effective nursing care
• Care for a patient ratio of approximately 1:2, depending on acuity
• Assist with ventilated patients and support staffing adjustments as needed
• Float to other areas such as OB, Med-Surg, PACU, and ER when appropriate and within competency
• Complete hospital and unit orientation, including competency documentation
