Job Details

• Position: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)
• Employment Type: Travel Surgical Technologist Contract
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (06:45 - 17:00)
• Shift Duration: 10 Hour Days
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,580 - $1,690
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 09/29/2026
• Setting: Operating Room / Surgical Services
• Location: Modesto, California 95355
• Call Requirement: 1x per week
• Orientation: 16 hours

Job Requirements

• Current CST certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience required
• Experience supporting complex OR cases preferred
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Valid California license or applicable credentials as required for submission
• Must meet compliance requirements, including references and work history verification

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures and ensure all necessary equipment is available
• Maintain sterile technique and assist the surgical team throughout procedures
• Anticipate the needs of surgeons and support safe, efficient case flow
• Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment for a variety of surgical specialties
• Assist with pre-op, intra-op, and post-op room setup and turnover as needed
• Collaborate with perioperative staff to promote excellent patient care and workflow
• Support a broad mix of cases, including general, orthopedic, gynecologic, urologic, cardiovascular, and robotic procedures
