Job Details

• Position: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) / Certified OR Tech
• Assignment Type: Travel healthcare job
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (06:45 - 17:00)
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Call: 1x per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,580 - $1,690
• Location: Modesto, CA 95355

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of OR Tech or Surgical Technologist experience required
• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Strong knowledge of surgical specialties, instruments, and operating room procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical services environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room for a wide variety of surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and the perioperative team with intraoperative support and sterile technique
• Anticipate case needs and ensure instruments, supplies, and equipment are ready
• Support safe, efficient workflow across general surgery, orthopedics, cardiovascular, robotic, and other surgical cases
• Participate in call coverage as scheduled
• Contribute to high-quality, patient-centered surgical care
