Job Requirements

• Active RN license from any U.S. state accepted
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association
• NRP required within 1 year of hire
• TNCC required within 1 year of hire
• ENPC required within 1 year of hire
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) completion within 6 months of hire
• Emergency Severity Index Level 5 certification within 3 months of hire
• Patient Sitter Competency Training upon hire

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced Emergency Department
• Perform comprehensive assessments, monitor patient conditions, and respond quickly to changes in status
• Carry out physician orders and follow established nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care
• Support patients and families with compassionate, professional care during urgent and emergent situations
• Work independently while collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and the clinical care team
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to safe, efficient patient flow in a busy emergency setting
• Apply critical thinking, prioritization, and strong clinical judgment in a high-acuity environment
