• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week (19:00 - 07:30)
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Weekend Coverage: Required, approximately 4 weekend shifts every 4 weeks
• Floating: Required within the organization as needed
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Charting System: Epic
• Orientation: 36 hours

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Registered Nurse (RN) experience
• Current compact or Ohio state RN license in hand at time of submission
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
• Epic experience preferred or required
• Strong background in telemetry, cardiac drips, and stepdown/PCU nursing
• Ability to care for adult patients with complex cardiac and respiratory diagnoses
• Comfortable floating to other units within the organization as needed
• ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing education required
• 2 professional references required, including at least 1 supervisor, manager, or director reference

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled bedside care for adult cardiac stepdown and progressive care patients
• Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Administer and titrate cardiac and insulin drips per protocol
• Manage patients requiring BiPAP, CPAP, oxygen therapy, and non-invasive airway support
• Perform and assist with central line, PICC line, peripheral IV, and feeding tube care
• Care for ventilated patients and support tracheostomy management when needed
• Administer blood products and maintain isolation precautions
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and support rapid response/code teams as needed
