Travel Registered Nurse – LTAC in Pittsburgh, PA
Join a patient-focused long-term acute care (LTAC) team as a Travel Registered Nurse in Pittsburgh, PA 15213. Pittsburgh is a vibrant city with a riverfront setting, diverse neighborhoods, and convenient access to city amenities. This 13-week RN travel assignment is ideal for an experienced nurse with ICU experience who is passionate about delivering high-quality, recovery-focused patient care in a collaborative, safety-first clinical environment.

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical nursing experience
- ICU experience required
- BLS certification required prior to first shift
- ACLS certification required prior to first shift
- Strong assessment, documentation, and care-planning skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented acute care setting
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission and use findings to guide an individualized plan of care
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to identify teaching needs and care goals
- Provide timely updates for team conferences and re-evaluation meetings
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
- Support the rehabilitation program by delivering direct patient care through the nursing process
- Initiate discharge planning from the day of admission and begin patient education in anticipation of discharge
- Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to the appropriate care providers
- Guide, train, and supervise ancillary nursing personnel as appropriate
- Promote patient and employee safety by following facility policies and safe nursing practice standards
- Contribute positively to unit teamwork, patient experience, and quality outcomes
