Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS/CPR certification
• At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in rehab nursing or acute care
• Experience caring for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, fractures, or orthopedic conditions
• Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced inpatient rehab environment
• Calm, friendly, and patient-centered approach
• Comfort with variable patient assignments and a collaborative interdisciplinary team setting

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to individuals undergoing rehabilitation after injury or illness
• Monitor patient progress and support individualized recovery goals
• Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and facility protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to promote positive outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the Cerner EHR
• Support patients with diagnoses including CVA, multitrauma, fractures, transplant recovery, and cardiac-related rehabilitation needs
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for patients and families
