• Shift: 12-hour day shift, 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Unit Size: 65-bed Emergency Department
• EMR: Epic

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• At least 2 years of recent emergency room nursing experience in a large Emergency Department
• Current ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC certifications
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing patient volumes
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity acute care environment
• Ability to float according to skill set as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across a wide range of acuity levels
• Perform timely assessments, interventions, monitoring, and reassessments in a busy ED setting
• Support safe, efficient patient flow while responding to changing census and priorities
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and utilize Epic EMR effectively
• Apply sound clinical judgment to prioritize care and respond to urgent situations
