Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent experience in centralized telemetry monitoring or a similar Monitor Technician role
• Current BLS certification
• Valid state license or compact license in hand at submission, as applicable
• Experience interpreting cardiac rhythms and recognizing dysrhythmias
• Comfort working with Epic charting and electronic health record workflows
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to respond quickly to alarm activity
• Excellent communication skills and a team-focused approach in a fast-paced clinical environment

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient cardiac rhythms and identify changes in rhythm patterns
• Track and document telemetry findings accurately in the patient record
• Maintain rhythm strips and support alarm management and patient safety
• Observe monitors for adult and geriatric patients in the progressive care setting
• Communicate significant rhythm changes promptly to the care team
• Assist with lead placement and other cardiac monitoring workflows as needed
• Support safe, efficient patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment
