Job Requirements

• Active LPN license in good standing
• At least 1 year of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting
• Experience with patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment support
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate nursing care in a variable-shift environment
• Flu vaccination required or approved medical/religious exception prior to start
• Must be able to arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health clearance

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and report pertinent changes to the physician or advanced practice provider
• Administer medications and carry out ordered treatments
• Support admissions and discharges as needed
• Assist with activities of daily living and resident comfort
• Provide gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulized treatments, wound vac care, and CPAP care
• Document care accurately and contribute to a positive, resident-centered long-term care environment
