• Position: Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
• Location: Michigan City, Indiana
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Work Setting: Surgical Operating Room / Perioperative Services
• Technology: Epic EMR
• Surgical Support: MAKO and DaVinci procedures
• Start Date: November 2, 2026

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 5 years of operating room nursing experience preferred
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Strong OR background with nursing leadership skills
• Ability to remain flexible and shift priorities as needed
• Experience with surgical patients and perioperative workflows
• AORN experience is a plus
• Reliable, collaborative, and calm under pressure

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and support in the operating room
• Assist with a range of surgical cases in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team members
• Support safe, efficient patient flow throughout the surgical day
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Epic EMR
• Adapt quickly to changing case needs and priorities
• Contribute to a team-centered culture focused on quality patient care
• Remain available for occasional after-hours phone support when needed
