Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license and eligibility to work in the assigned state
• Minimum of 3 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Previous experience in an acute care hospital required
• Confidence working in a float pool environment across multiple critical care units
• Ability to care for patients who are sedated, intubated, or receiving pressor support
• Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a commitment to excellent patient care
• Comfortable adapting to changing assignments within the same shift as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in ICU float pool assignments across multiple units
• Float to MICU, SICU, Neuro ICU, Cardiac ICU, and CTICU based on experience and unit needs
• Support care for basic ICU patients, including those who are sedated, intubated, or receiving pressors
• Deliver safe, attentive care while maintaining appropriate patient ratios
• Collaborate closely with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Adapt quickly to changing workflows, patient needs, and unit expectations
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and uphold patient safety standards at all times
