MRI Technologist Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience in a hospital setting
• Experience working with critical care patients in a clinical imaging environment
• ARRT (MR) or MRIT certification required
• Overnight MRI experience preferred
• Experience with pacemakers preferred
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced radiology and medical imaging department

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient and ER MRI studies with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to patient safety
• Complete brain MRI, spine MRI, and general MRI exams according to department protocols
• Maintain high standards of imaging quality, safety, and workflow consistency
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and radiology staff to support timely patient care
• Prepare patients for scans and provide clear, compassionate communication throughout the exam process
• Follow imaging procedures, compliance requirements, and documentation standards
