Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,450 - $2,580
• Setting: Acute care operating room
• Location: Martinsburg, WV 25401
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• Shifts Per Week: 4
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call Requirements: Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call rotation as needed
• Floating: May float to outpatient surgery as needed
• Charting System: Epic
• Unit Highlights: Busy OR with 9 operating rooms, 1 procedure room, and 1 hybrid room
• Case Volume: Approximately 35-45 cases per day

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 2-3 years of operating room nursing experience required
• 2-3 previous travel assignments required
• Orthopedic OR experience required
• Experience passing arms in and out for robotics required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system required
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred
• Comfortable supporting call coverage in a collaborative, high-volume OR
• Scrubbing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Circulate a wide range of surgical cases, including general, ENT, eye, orthopedic, robotics, neuro/spine, vascular, trauma, pediatric, and emergent procedures
• Support safe, efficient patient care throughout the surgical experience
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team to maintain smooth workflow
• Assist with room turnover and maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-paced operating room environment
• Provide call coverage for weeknight, weekend, and holiday needs as assigned
• Float to outpatient surgery when needed and contribute to overall department success
• Adapt quickly to changing case needs while maintaining excellent patient safety and professionalism
