• Call Requirements: Weekend call rotation, holiday call rotation as needed, and weeknight call rotation
• Floating: May float to outpatient surgery as needed
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,450 - $2,580

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 2-3+ years of Operating Room RN experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing or travel RN experience preferred
• Orthopedic surgery experience required
• Ability to pass instruments in and out for robotics cases required
• Experience with EPIC charting required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• PALS certification preferred
• Comfortable working in a busy evening OR environment
• Able to function independently when needed, including overnight coverage with tech support

Responsibilities

• Circulate in the operating room and support a wide variety of surgical cases
• Assist with general surgery, ENT, eye, orthopedic, robotics, neuro spine, vascular, pediatric, trauma, and emergent procedures
• Provide safe, efficient perioperative nursing care throughout the surgical experience
• Support charge nurse and house supervisor coverage when assigned
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to maintain smooth case flow
• Adapt to multiple service lines and varying case complexity in an acute-care hospital setting
• Participate in call coverage and respond within the required time frame when on call
• Float to outpatient surgery when needed to support unit operations
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EPIC
