Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of pediatric oncology, hematology, and BMT/cellular therapy experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license preferred at time of submission
• BLS and PALS required
• Chemo/biotherapy provider card from APHON or ONS required
• Experience with chemotherapy administration, bone marrow transplant care, central line care, and neutropenic precautions
• Strong Epic documentation experience required
• Ability to support pediatric patients and families in a high-acuity inpatient setting

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric hematology/oncology and bone marrow transplant patients
• Administer chemotherapy and support safe handling of bodily fluids after treatment
• Deliver care for patients with leukemia, brain tumors, sarcomas, lymphomas, blood disorders, and other complex diagnoses
• Manage central lines, implanted ports, IV therapy, and infusion support
• Monitor for oncologic emergencies and provide symptom management with compassion and urgency
• Assist with BMT infusions and moderate sedation procedures as needed
• Maintain infection prevention standards and apply isolation precautions consistently
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, patient-centered care
