• Patient Population: Pediatrics, infants, and adolescents
• Schedule: Self-scheduling with weekend coverage
• Orientation: 24 hours

Job Requirements

• Active Oregon RN license preferred at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse experience required
• Acute care cardiac nursing experience required
• Previous pediatric RN experience preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; AHA traditional certifications only
• PALS certification required
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• Ability to work night shifts in a pediatric acute care environment
• Strong dysrhythmia interpretation and IV management skills
• Ability to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed
• Professional references required

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality pediatric nursing care to surgical and acute care patients
• Monitor and support patients with diagnoses including surgical, cardiology, endocrine, gastroenterology, plastics, trauma, orthopedics, and urology
• Interpret dysrhythmias and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Maintain IV access and perform routine bedside nursing interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver coordinated patient care
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain strong clinical communication
• Float as needed within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals based on unit needs
• Support a positive patient and family experience in a busy pediatric healthcare setting
