• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Orientation: 48 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,850 - $1,990

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Current RRT credential required
• BLS, NRP, and PALS required
• Oregon state license preferred at time of submission; pending license considered
• Experience in NICU, PICU, and pediatric floors required
• Epic experience required; prior charting system experience preferred
• Strong experience with ventilator management and advanced respiratory support
• Ability to work with neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, and adult acute care patients
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented hospital environment
• Must be able to complete required compliance items prior to start, including references and work history verification

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside respiratory care across NICU, PICU, emergency, pediatric, and adult acute care areas
• Deliver therapeutic interventions such as airway management, ventilator support, aerosol treatments, and oxygen therapy
• Perform diagnostic procedures including arterial blood gas sampling, bedside spirometry, and point-of-care testing
• Support newborn resuscitation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and critical respiratory events
• Assist with high-acuity patients, including ECMO, micro-preemies, and pre- and post-operative cardiac cases
• Operate and troubleshoot respiratory equipment and ventilators, including advanced mechanical ventilation systems
• Document and charge accurately for all services provided
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the broader care team to promote excellent patient outcomes
• Train and support new team members, students, and other healthcare professionals as needed
• Maintain competency with current care modalities, equipment, and departmental standards
