• Start Date: 10/13/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hours (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,850 - $1,990
• Orientation: 48 hours
• Schedule Notes: No call required; candidates may float within the hospital and to nearby affiliate facilities as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Oregon state respiratory therapy license required or eligible/pending as allowed for submission
• Strong recent experience in PICU, NICU, and pediatric floors required
• Experience with micro-preemies, pre-op cardiac patients, ECMO patients, and inhaled nitric oxide preferred
• Epic experience required for submission; other charting experience preferred
• Experience with Hamilton G5, Hamilton C-1, and 3100-A ventilators required
• Familiarity with VDR preferred
• Ability to work with pediatric, neonatal, adolescent, and adult acute care patients
• Must be comfortable with a comprehensive compliance and background review

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside respiratory care across NICU, PICU, pediatric, emergency, and acute care settings
• Deliver therapeutic interventions including airway management, ventilator management, therapeutic gases, and newborn resuscitation
• Perform diagnostic procedures such as ABGs, bedside spirometry, and point-of-care testing
• Support age-specific, family-centered care with a patient-first approach
• Assist with high-risk deliveries, intubation support, bronchoscopy support, and advanced respiratory therapies
• Manage and troubleshoot ventilators and related equipment according to departmental guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to provide safe, high-quality patient care
• Train and support new respiratory therapists, students, and other team members when needed
• Document services accurately and complete all required charting, charges, competencies, and in-services
• Maintain strong clinical judgment, communication, and flexibility in a fast-paced hospital environment
