• Location: Portland, OR 97239
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,200 - $2,320
• Start Date: 11/3/2026
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
• Charting System: Epic
• Patient Population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
• Work Setting: Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool

Job Requirements

• 2 years of recent nursing experience required
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license preferred at time of submission
• BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• Strong pediatric critical care and neonatal nursing experience required
• Epic experience required
• Ability to float between pediatric and neonatal units as needed
• Comfortable working in high-acuity care environments
• Must be available to work at least 2 of the 3 major winter holidays

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate care to pediatric and neonatal patients with varying levels of acuity
• Support care across multiple units, including critical care and intermediate care settings
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes quickly, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications, blood products, and supportive therapies in accordance with clinical standards
• Provide ventilator-related care, tracheostomy support, and other pediatric ICU interventions as assigned
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary care teams to promote positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
• Adapt quickly to changing patient assignments and unit needs within the float pool
