Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of CVPICU experience required
• Strong post-op heart experience required
• Experience with pediatric critical care patients is essential
• Valid Registered Nurse license preferred at time of submission
• BLS and PALS required
• NRP preferred
• Epic experience required
• Ability to care for patients with complex cardiac, respiratory, neurologic, trauma, and surgical needs
• Comfort working with high-acuity pediatric procedures and advanced therapies

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to critically ill pediatric patients
• Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced cardiac and respiratory support
• Assist with bedside procedures such as central line placement, arterial line placement, lumbar puncture, intubation/extubation, and ECMO-related care
• Support CRRT initiation and discontinuation, chest procedures, and other emergent interventions
• Perform comprehensive assessments, medication administration, and ongoing patient monitoring
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, and the broader care team
• Float as needed within pediatric and NICU units based on unit needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to a high standard of family-centered care
