• Hours Per Week: 36
• Shift Pattern: Block scheduling is not available unless otherwise stated in the posting
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Weekend Coverage: Required
• Floating: Yes, within the hospital as needed
• Setting: Level IV NICU
• Patient Population: Neonates and infants

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BSN required
• Minimum 2 years of Level IV NICU experience
• BLS and NRP required
• Epic experience required
• Strong clinical background in neonatal nursing, including ventilator management and respiratory support
• Ability to work weekends and adapt to floating assignments within the facility
• Preferred experience with charge nurse responsibilities and Level I trauma environments

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, family-centered nursing care to critically ill, convalescing, and growing newborns
• Monitor and assess neonates and infants in a busy Level IV NICU
• Administer specialized nursing care for patients requiring advanced respiratory support and close observation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support individualized treatment plans
• Respond to changing patient conditions with strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
• Support safe, efficient care delivery across the unit and float assignments as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow established unit workflows
• Promote a positive, supportive environment for patients, families, and care teams
