Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 3 years of recent Med/Surg experience in a medical-surgical or acute care setting
• Strong EPIC experience required
• Ability to manage a 5-7 patient assignment, including total care patients
• Experience caring for a varied patient mix, including medical, ortho, general surgery, GIP, telemetry, and stepdown patients
• Confidence working in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout the shift
• Document accurately and efficiently in EPIC
• Prioritize care for patients with varying acuity levels and total care needs
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and strong communication in a dynamic Med/Surg unit
• Support patient safety, clinical excellence, and efficient workflow in a travel nurse role
