ICU Registered Nurse Job – Local Contract in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090-$2,200
• Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
• Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Employment Type: Local contract
• Work Arrangement: On-site
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and 1 holiday required
• Floating: Expected to float within the unit and to other units as needed

Job Requirements

• Current ICU nursing experience required
• CVICU experience highly preferred
• Cardiac PCU or MICU experience will be considered
• BSN required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania or compact eligibility, as applicable
• All required background clearances must be completed

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU setting
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition using strong clinical judgment
• Care for patients requiring advanced monitoring, life support, and critical care interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Support safe patient transitions and adapt to floating assignments as needed
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining high professional standards
