Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of recent labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Required certifications: NRP, BLS, and EFM
• ADN required
• Strong comfort level caring for low- to high-risk maternity patients
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced birthing center or maternity unit
• Experience with Meditech and OBIX is helpful

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care areas
• Monitor maternal and newborn status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Support patient care across triage, labor, delivery, and postpartum workflows
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe, patient-centered outcomes
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record
• Maintain a calm, compassionate presence for patients and families during childbirth
