Job Details

• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Setting: Emergency Department / Emergency Room
• Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan 49007
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks with potential to extend up to 26 weeks
• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend and holidays as needed
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,820 - $1,910
• Charting System: Epic preferred
• Orientation: 8 hours
• Scheduling Note: Block scheduling cannot be accommodated

Job Requirements

• Current Michigan RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience required; 2 years of recent ER experience preferred
• Level I Trauma experience strongly recommended
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC required
• ENPC, NIHSS, and CPI preferred
• Experience caring for adult and pediatric emergency patients preferred
• Supervisor-level references required
• Ability to work scheduled holidays and every other weekend as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care in a busy emergency department
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients with varying levels of acuity
• Provide timely nursing interventions and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Care for a diverse patient population, including adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Monitor patient status, respond quickly to changes, and maintain accurate documentation in Epic
• Support trauma nursing and emergency care workflows in a high-volume clinical setting
• Adapt to unit needs and contribute to a strong, team-focused patient care environment
