Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent ICU, CCU, or critical care nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and rapid-response skills
• Ability to work independently in a high-acuity acute care setting
• Self-motivated, dependable, and adaptable team player
• Comfort working with advanced ICU equipment and critically ill adult patients
• PALS certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU/CCU
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Assist with procedures including central line insertions and dialysis catheter insertions
• Manage care involving Impella, temporary pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, and hemodynamic monitoring systems
• Collaborate closely with physicians, techs, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Document accurately and maintain safe, efficient patient care using Meditech
• Support unit flow, teamwork, and flexible staffing needs in a busy critical care environment
