Job Requirements

• Active LPN/LVN license in good standing
• At least 1 year of recent clinical experience preferred in a Med/Surg, acute care, or hospital setting
• Current BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• IV certification
• Cerner experience preferred
• Ability to provide safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide delegated direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse
• Support daily patient needs including assessments, vital signs, ADLs, and comfort measures
• Administer medications and perform peripheral IV therapy as permitted
• Assist with documentation, discharge planning, and implementation of physician orders
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes promptly to the care team
• Help coordinate safe, efficient care delivery while following facility policies and nursing standards
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing learning and adherence to best practices
