• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4x10 day shifts
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• Call Requirements: 2 weekend days per month (24 hours) and 5 weekdays including Friday ending at 4:30 PM
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,370 - $2,500
• Float Requirement: No float requirement
• EMR: Epic
• Unit Highlights: 3 operating rooms, with occasional use of a 4th room; patient ratio 3:1

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of nursing experience in an operating room, CVOR, or similar surgical setting
• Current RN license in good standing
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Strong knowledge of circulating in the operating room
• Ability to work effectively in heart surgery and vascular surgery cases
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to maintain a positive attitude in a high-acuity environment
• Scrubbing experience is preferred but not required
• Experience with Epic EMR is helpful

Responsibilities

• Provide circulating RN support for cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures
• Assist with safe, efficient patient care throughout the surgical workflow
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiology, and the perioperative team to support excellent patient outcomes
• Monitor the operating room environment and respond quickly to changing case needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical standards within the CVOR
• Support a smooth, team-based workflow in a busy surgical services setting
• Participate in call coverage as scheduled
