• Schedule Flexibility: Must be willing to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
• On-Call: Pager on-call opportunity available

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of recent Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care experience in a healthcare setting
• Active RN license in good standing
• American Heart Association ACLS or ALSO
• Current BLS certification
• NRP certification
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring required, or RNC-EFM may be substituted
• Ability to float to other qualified units or assist with task-based support as needed
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, patient-focused maternal-child health environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum rooms, and newborn care
• Support rooming-in care for babies with mothers and promote family-centered care
• Assist with an average of 40 deliveries per month and approximately 6 C-sections per month
• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care throughout the birth experience
• May serve as charge nurse after completing training, as needed
• Float to other departments when qualified and assigned
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to maintain safe, efficient, and supportive patient care
