This travel Registered Nurse opportunity is ideal for a compassionate Rehab RN who wants to help patients rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence after illness or injury in a collaborative inpatient rehabilitation facility.

• Area: Iowa City healthcare region
• Unit Focus: Intensive rehabilitation care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license or current state certification
• At least 1 year of nursing experience preferred in acute care, rehabilitation nursing, or long-term care
• Current BLS certification
• Child and Adult Mandatory Reporter training, or willingness to obtain as required
• Basic computer skills and experience documenting in an electronic health record (EHR)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work collaboratively as a dependable team player in a fast-paced healthcare setting

• Provide compassionate, patient-focused nursing care to individuals in active recovery
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes in condition, and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team
• Support rehabilitation goals through skilled assessment, intervention, and ongoing evaluation
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record
• Promote a safe, organized, and healing environment for patients and families
• Collaborate with physical therapy, occupational therapy, and other clinical support staff to help patients maximize function and quality of life
• Follow facility protocols, maintain professional nursing standards, and contribute to a positive team culture
