• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Recent Level III NICU experience required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred

NICU RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to critically ill newborns in the NICU
• Monitor patient condition, respond to clinical changes, and communicate updates to the care team
• Administer medications, perform assessments, and support neonatal treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare staff
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards
• Support and educate families with professionalism, empathy, and clear communication
• Contribute to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with a strong team-focused approach
