Travel SLP Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030 - $2,190
• Setting: Acute inpatient and acute rehab hospital therapy
• Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
• Schedule: 4 x 10-hour day shifts per week
• Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed
• Charting System: EPIC
• Weekend Coverage: Required
• Holiday Coverage: As needed
• Location: Twin Falls, ID — a welcoming community with a strong local culture and access to hiking, canyon overlooks, and year-round outdoor activities

Speech Language Pathologist Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) certification
• CCC-SLP required
• BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of acute care experience required
• Competency in VFSS (video fluoroscopic swallow study)
• Acute rehab experience preferred
• Comfort working in ICU, acute tower, and rehab unit settings
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment

SLP Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in acute inpatient and acute rehab settings
• Provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy services
• Support a caseload of approximately 8 to 10 patients per day
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, rehab aides, and the broader care team
• Perform or support VFSS competency-based swallowing assessments
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC
• Share time across ICU, acute tower, and rehab unit coverage as needed
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered therapy team environment
