Travel Nursing Job Details

• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Schedule: Weekends as needed; first to float
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,400-$2,530
• Charting System: EPIC
• Orientation: Typically 4-6 shifts

Labor and Delivery RN Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Experience in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and circulating required
• Triage experience strongly preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Ability to titrate drips, including Pitocin, magnesium, and occasional insulin
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented women's services and acute care setting
• Willingness to float to like units in the surrounding area as needed

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring, postpartum, antepartum, and well newborn patients
• Circulate for C-sections and support obstetric procedures as needed
• Monitor fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal condition
• Titrate ordered medications per protocol and unit guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, CRNAs, and the nursing team to deliver coordinated patient care
• Support admissions, triage, inductions, recovery, and postpartum care
• Adapt to floating assignments within similar women's services settings as needed
