Job Details

• Position: ICU Registered Nurse
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing / Contract
• Setting: Acute care ICU / PCU combination unit
• Location: Twin Falls, Idaho
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shifts per Week: Typically 3 shifts per week
• Weekend Requirement: Usually every other weekend, based on unit needs
• Floating: Within ICU and PCU patient assignments on the unit
• Orientation: 2 shifts on the unit
• Charting System: EPIC
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Thermaguard/ZOLL targeted temperature management experience required
• EPIC experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Comfortable titrating drips, including vasoactive and sedative medications
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips independently
• Flexibility to support the unit’s scheduling and weekend needs

Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity nursing care for ICU and PCU patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Monitor and manage complex patients, including ventilated, cardiac, stroke, sepsis, trauma, and CRRT cases
• Titrate drips and respond to changing patient conditions with strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
• Care for patients receiving targeted temperature management and other advanced critical care therapies
• Collaborate closely with intensivists, hospitalists, respiratory therapy, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Support safe patient movement within the unit and assist with floating between ICU and PCU assignments
• Document accurately in EPIC and maintain high standards of patient safety and clinical quality
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on teamwork, reliability, and excellent patient care
