Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Mauston, WI
• Schedule: Full-time day shift, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, every other weekend
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
• Start Date: 10/12/2026

Job Requirements

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• 1+ years of related long-term care, skilled nursing, or nursing experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accurate clinical documentation skills
• Excellent communication skills with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary care team members
• Two-year nursing degree required; four-year degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate resident care in a long-term care and skilled nursing environment
• Administer medications safely and follow the 5 Rights of medication administration
• Complete resident assessments and monitor for changes in condition
• Perform wound care and wound assessments as needed
• Communicate resident updates and clinical concerns to physicians, families, and care leadership promptly
• Support CNAs by assisting with call lights and coordinating care as needed
• Serve as a floor leader by assessing situations and directing care appropriately
• Maintain accurate resident records, charting, and nursing documentation
• Report concerns such as suspected abuse, neglect, or misappropriation according to policy
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support resident safety and quality care
