• Area Description: Located in the Fort Worth 76177 area, this assignment places you in a welcoming North Fort Worth setting.
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Employment Type: Travel Respiratory Therapist
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Shift Hours: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Shifts Per Week: 3 guaranteed, with potential to pick up a 4th shift
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,320 - $1,420
• Start Date: Available for the scheduled start date listed

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• Current BLS certification
• 2+ years of hospital respiratory therapy experience required
• NICU experience required
• ICU experience required
• ED experience required
• Ability to draw and interpret ABGs
• Experience providing respiratory care for patients across all age ranges
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Preferred: experience with Servo I ventilator and I-Stat
• Comfortable working overnight hospital shifts in a clinical environment

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy treatments, evaluations, and assessments in a hospital setting
• Obtain, analyze, and document ABGs as part of patient care
• Assist with intubation and airway management procedures
• Administer nebulizer treatments, Metaneb, IPPB, and CPT as ordered
• Support respiratory care in ICU, NICU, and ED units
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow unit protocols
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
