• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,050 - $2,150
• Work Setting: On-site
• Location: Santa Fe, NM 87505
• Weekend / Call Requirements: Weekend coverage required, including 2 weekend call shifts per month and 1 call night per week
• Floating: May float to other departments within Surgical Services

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of employment or a compact license
• BLS through AHA required
• ACLS through AHA required
• Minimum of 1 year of Endoscopy RN experience or related nursing specialty required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Ability to work independently while delivering safe, high-quality patient care
• Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex nursing care for endoscopy and gastroenterology patients
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols and monitor patient response
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and timely
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on procedures, care needs, and follow-up instructions
• Support patients with increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs
• Collaborate with the care team and assist with assignments and delegation as appropriate
• Maintain professionalism while meeting competency expectations in a fast-paced surgical services environment
