Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of employment or compact state license
• BLS certification through AHA required
• At least 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty required
• Experience in pain procedures, pre-op, OR, and PACU preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Strong adaptability and willingness to float as needed
• Ability to work independently in a clinically complex environment

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for patients undergoing pain management procedures
• Support pre-operative, OR, and PACU workflows as needed
• Assist with pain procedure injections performed in the OR setting
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocol
• Monitor patients for side effects and treatment effectiveness
• Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on care plans and learning needs
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver safe, high-quality nursing care
