Job Requirements

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant certification or licensure
• At least 1 year of inpatient, rehabilitation, or hospital-based therapy experience
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Comfortable supporting a busy inpatient caseload and maintaining accurate clinical documentation
• Ability to help patients safely progress toward mobility, functional, and discharge goals

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans for inpatient rehabilitation patients
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities
• Support gait training, transfers, and safe movement techniques to promote recovery
• Observe patient responses and communicate progress or concerns to the therapy team
• Document treatment sessions accurately and in a timely manner
• Help promote patient independence, safety, and successful discharge outcomes
